MY BOOBS ARE A LITTLE BIT BIGGER BUT I'LL GLADLY TRADE THEM IN

My whole life I've been skinny.

My. Whole. Life.

Then I hit forty. I have no idea what brick wall I ran in to but the eating whatever the fuck I want and not exercising AT ALL days are over.

I started running and cutting back on food consumption. Both are tough because:

A. I'm lazy.

B. As you all well know, I love food more than my husband.

I think I've been doing pretty well. I run 2 miles a day, 5 days a week. I refrain from indulgence.

When I exercises though, I have to have LOUD, kick-ass music or I can't run. I need constant up-beat music blaring through my ears which I'm sure will cause early deafness. At least I'll be skinny....right?

Anyway, here's my latest music love for working out:

My questions for all of my fellow bloggers out there is what is your favorite music for working out? I need to expand my ipod selections...... HELP!

I'm counting on you. I can't look like Fergie without a little help from my friends (and maybe a boob job).

okay I'll trade you. I was born with big boobs! I'll trade you.

I like very loud rock 'n roll!
I can not work out to slow music or music I hate. I was once at a gym where they played all kinds of shit like britney spears and other assorted non singers so called "dance music" and I thought my head would explode....so I left.

Good excuse though.

pink?

where did you get that hideous photo? was that for a real photo shoot or were they trying to emphasize the anorexia?

Goodoo- Um....that's me.

JK

I think that was a real photo shoot for french models. France is trying to outlaw models under a certain weight for their height.

Looking through my Zune...

Buckcherry - Crazy Bitch
Five Finger Death Punch - Never Enough
GnR - Welcome to the Jungle, Live and Let Die
Pink - Who Knew
Theory of a Deadman - Bad Girlfriend
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards in Winter
Wolfmother - Woman

Like you, I need LOUD and FAST when I work out.

That...that...model or corpse or whatever the hell she is needs help. And food. STAT. YULK.

GOOD JOB ON THE RUNNING!!! But, darlin, you gotta up your mileage. Running the same mielage every day will make you plateau. You need to run more some days, less others. Not that you asked for advice. But hey! Wanna run a marathon with me?? Come on! It'll be fun!!!

Here are some of my favorite, high energy, happy-pace songs:

Iggy Pop - "Lust for Life"
Ben Kweller - "Run" (duh)
The Strokes - "Take It or Leave It"
The Hives - "Hate to Say I Told You So"
plus Cake, White Stripes, Pixies and OK Go.

And I don't have a single George Jones song. ;)

You.inspire.me. I haven't gotten beyond the step of creating a kick-ass rockin' exercise music list and wondering why thinking about running isn't working for me. Some of my tunes:

Pink, Go-gos, Butthole Surfers, Michelle Shocked, Amy McDonald, All American Rejects, The Ting Tings and a secret medley of bad pop/dance music.

Hmmm...I like some old school and new. Pink is a MUST! Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Crows, White Stripes, Lenny Kravitz, Estelle (the one with Kanye), Eminem, Pearl Jam (k, sounding old now), Black Eye Peas, Blink 182 and lets not forget...Beastie Boys...

Yes ma'am...I'll be joining the ranks of 40 in a few and I'm music ready!

Ok, I am kind of in your boat myself... don't laugh...

J-Lo
Pink
Gwynn Stephanie
Shikira
Lady Gaga
Justin Timberlake (Only the song Sexy Back... it has a really good beat)
Christina Aguilara
Britney Spears
Pussycat Dolls

Basically I am all about the bubblegum pop happy crappy... it is pathetic. I really only listen to it when I run but it is kind of that stuff you want to dance to and it makes me run also. You can't help but run when you think about some bitch looking like that! LOL
