Bubby started running with her almost immediately. He would take her up into the foothills and run with her every day. She was still running with Bubby as of last year. Now her bones are sore and she can't run.
Did that stop Bubby? No.
Bubby took the jogging stroller and spent two weeks revising the stroller to accommodate Mistie. Now Bubby & Tori (and sometimes Christian on his bicycle), take two nights and 1 day a week to run along side of Mistie.
Their love runs deep.

That is true love!
My god, that looks exactly like something we have in our garage so Dave can take the lazy bulldog along. He rigged his up because he got tired of fireman carrying the dog home when she just flat out refused to walk.
THAT is the sweetest thing I have seen or heard in a very long time. My heart is swelled with love for your family's devotion to an obviously adored furry old lady.
Jenn-hopefully he will have that much love and adoration for me when I am an old lady (and hopefully, not so furry)!
Ha! I was just thinking that. Not that you'd be furry, but that you'd be hauled around in such a sweet ride.
That's love! We had a German Shephard that we loved that much when I was a kid. She got arthritis too. So hard when they want to do the things they've always done but can't. How wonderful that Bubby fixed it so that they can still do their special things together. I'm going to have to watch for them!
So this would be the equivalent of "Driving Miss Misty" right? Oh she SOO deserves to be treated like the matriarch she is - especially since she runs and rules the rest of the pack!!!
