Let's just say I am glad we were the only ones in the whole office. Christian screamed and cried.
Now I've broken his sweet little spirit and he will probably never want to go to a dentist again.....
Then Leroy came home from school. Leroy knew Christian was getting some teeth pulled that day. Leroy walked in to our great room and started yelling and screaming as Christian was lying on the couch covered in a bloody tee-shirt. Leroy began to flap his arms and begin a full-fledged panic attack. Leroy (aka: Asperger's Boy) saves these meltdowns for special occasions. Mainly Leroy freaks out when Dad is not home and when several chaotic things are going on at one time.
I shuffled Leroy in to his room and tried to calm him down. "Breathe", I said. "Take a deep breath and let it out slowly." When Leroy was calm enough to stop flapping his arms and be able to form sentences, this is what he screamed:
"HOW COULD YOU DO IT?"
"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?"
what? huh?
"HOW COULD YOU PULL OUT CHRISTIAN'S JAW AND TEETH AND THEN LEAVE IT ON THE COUNTER FOR ME TO SEE?"
what? huh?
I then I remembered.......my dear neighbor Kiki found a partial jaw and teeth of a coyote earlier on that day and brought it over for the kids.
How stupid of me not to make the connection! Now Leroy is scarred for life as well.
Bad Mom! Bad Mom!

OMG Tallulah! I about spit coffee on my keyboard. I look at it this way, as a parent, it is our RESPONSIBILITY to fuck up our kids! If anyone is going to send them to counseling.. by golly it'l be ME! LOL
kendoll!
OH. MY. GOD. I was NOT expecting that last part! Poor Leroy! I bet you felt so bad for him! And Christian. But at least he'll feel better soon. Leroy may never get that visual out of his head.
Geez. If we lived closer, I'd bring over margaritas and chug em with you.
