Have you ever had a friend that is so different from you yet so alike? That is my friend Kiki. She is also my next door neighbor.
Kiki is a incredible watercolor artist.
Kiki is a food snob just like me.
Kiki is a bathroom snob which is NOT like me.
Kiki has chosen to never have children.
Kiki is side-achingly funny.
Kiki has traveled the globe.
Kiki has the most amazing outlook on life, I have so much to learn from her.
Kiki is older than I am by at least 13 years and yet we get along famously!

Well Kiki knows how much I love "Day of the Dead." I have skeletons sprinkled throughout my house. Well last night she made us an incredible 33 layer (no shit) lasagna with red peppers in the shape of a skull. WOW! And must I say that the dinner was absolutely fabulous!
Note to readers: Due to the absolute chaos in my household....a.k.a. total disorganization, piles of laundry and general mayhem, I will be taking a break from blogging to organize my life. I'll check back in real soon. Promise.

Tallulah, good luck with your re-organization!

I've given up on that until my baby is at least 3!

It's just going to be plugging the hole so to speak...and all week my babies are home! Lovely!

Ok, Kiki sounds awesome--and that lasagna was definitely photo-worthy.
