Most parents worry about their child choking on objects or stuffing food in their ears or nose. My Nephew, when he was a toddler, stuck corn up his nose. He had to go to the emergency room to get it removed. My other Nephew swallowed a needle and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Not Izzy.

Izzy would not think of putting anything that is not food into his mouth. Izzy would rather die before he stuck something up his nose or in his ears. I can hear him now...."Eeewwww, grrrooooosss!"

Izzy has discovered an orifice of choice though. Yes, that's right people......the butt. Izzy likes having a butt and using the word butt in every sentence he can possibly get away with.

Today I gave him his clothing to get dressed. As you know, all three-year olds want help with NOTHING! I came downstairs after getting myself ready to find Izzy not dressed yet. I asked him why he was still naked. His response:

"Look Mom! I have a battery in my butt!"

And sure enough, the boy took a AAA battery and stuck it between his butt cheeks. Izzy then proceeded to walk around. He looked like he was carrying around a tiny hot dog between very large buns.

Could this be the start of something? Hmmmm.........
Any stories to share?

At Chez Star not sticking stuff in your butt goes along with only touching your own penis. I find if attention is not paid, the fascination will go away a little bit faster.

I'm laughing too hard to remember any stories of my lil' brother and his butt. Although, having two older sisters, he was mostly concerned with covering his boobies and didn't worry much about his nether region till later.

No wisdom here. I'm just thinking that the butt is a fairly safe place for a kid to be stuffing weird stuff. Better that than his mouth.
