THE SHELTERED LIFE

Izzy would like nothing better than to hang out with his siblings all day. His whole day revolves around playing, chasing and trying to drive his siblings crazy. Recently, I have noted that Izzy's toddler vocabulary has been laced with more colorful older child and tween words:

"That's stupid."
"You suck."
"You are dumb."

I have concluded that I will be taping the older children's mouths shut and getting Izzy out more to play with children his own age.

Last week I took him on THE TUMBLE BUS (which he loved), and took him to a play group that consisted of about 38 children between the ages of infant and three. Izzy had great fun.

Sunday morning rolls around, Izzy has a high fever, runny nose and is generally miserable. Thanks to all of his interaction with sticky-handed, snot-nosed little monsters, Izzy is sick AGAIN!

Maybe dumb, stupid and sucky aren't such terrible words anymore.................
