I'M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE...ARE YOU?

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let out our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."
Marianne Williamson

This is one of my all-time favorite quotes (even though it uses the "G" word in it). Marianne Williamson uses the term God in a much larger sense.

Wouldn't we all love to see our children this way? Feeling good about themselves, standing in their own light and knowing they are powerful beyond all measure. To do. To be. To live.

Knowing that this is how I want my children to feel about themselves, means that I must be the example. I must give them the permission to do the same.

This will not be an easy task.

Happy Love Thursday!

Not an easy task for any parent. I'm quite shy and unsure of myself in groups of people. I'd hate for my girls to have to go through the same thing.

Unfortunately, Bella's already exhibiting a similar lack of social skills and I've been concerned how to best help her. Guess by example, eh? *gulp*

BTW..your daughter is just beautiful :)

Not an easy task, but worth doing.
