December 1992 - July 2006
In the impossibly bright sunshine of the afternoon of July 19th , 2006, our beloved Ben left the chronic pain that he endured in this world behind.
He is survived by his lifetime companion, Mistie. He also leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and several cats who tolerated his behavior.
We will remember Ben as a dog who never grew up....a puppy in spirit. Ben's favorite pastimes included digging, barking, ignoring basic commands like sit and stay, howling at sirens, shredding furniture and burying shoes and clothing in the yard.
Ben was a simple dog. He would have wished we not linger on his death but remember the life and joy he brought to our daily lives. His time here are on earth was brief, but we will never forget our sweet Ben.
We love you Ben and we will miss you........

I'm sorry for your family's loss. It sounds like you gave him a wonderful life and he was well loved.
Ben may have won the doggie lottery by coming into our family, however WE were the lucky ones who in return got unconditional love and companionship. I'll miss you Ben on my trips home. Auntie K-Kay
