LET THEM BELIEVE THE LIE

Leroy thinks our cat Pooh adores him. Maybe Pooh does, but I highly doubt it. Pooh is a fairly aloof cat. We found him in a very busy parking lot during the Christmas season when he was a kitten.

After an examination with the Veterinarian, the Vet claimed that Pooh has brain damage. Pooh stares at walls for very long periods of time (hours), and barks like a dog.....really! Pooh's one weakness is milk. If you look in the photograph, there is an empty glass on the counter. Leroy has apparently spilled some milk on his shirt. See the look of interest in Pooh?

That's okay. Leroy can keep calling Pooh "his cat" and never quite get the connection that Pooh only loves him when Leroy has milk.

BYE BYE BIRDIE

This is a picture of Leroy with our cat, Pooh. Before we put Pooh on medication, he wasn't very friendly. Pooh would stay out all night scrapping with other cats and then during the day, Pooh would bring in every living creature he could find, kill or injure it, and then put the dainty little present on my pillow. After we put him on female hormones (no, really), Pooh became a nice little lap cat. Pooh wouldn't fight with other cats very often and the amount of dead things in the house had decreased greatly.

Well after last nights event, I will be surprised if Pooh doesn't end up missing..................

You see, Bubby discovered a baby bird on his studio balcony. This baby bird was just learning how to fly. He would take off and fly to a nearby tree and back again for practice. Then the baby bird would sleep on Bubby's balcony where it was warm and safe.

Last night Bubby watched the bird fly to the tree and then to the ground. Out of nowhere came our evil cat Pooh and snatched up Bubby's pet bird.

We may have to increase Pooh's meds............

HERE FISHY FISHY FISHY

Izzy likes crab, tuna, halibut, trout, lobster and just about any fish he can get his hands on. On New Years Eve, I got a giant crab leg (9 bucks for one leg people) at Izzy's request, and he was fighting Bubby over every last morsel.

Here is a picture of Pooh and Izzy eyeing the fish in the fish tank. How long do you think it's going to be before one of the fish ends up as somebody's dinner? (and I'm not talking about the cat)Happy Love Thursday!

LOVE....UM.....FRIDAY

As Ms. Anonymous pointed out yesterday......

I was not supposed to complain about living in White Filth because it was Love Thursday. I'm only supposed to blog about what I love. So here goes Ms. Anonymous....I know how much you HATE animals and I just happened to absolutely adore nearly every animal I meet.

After snow blanketed our small town of Way Down In Mayberry yesterday, the animals were feeling quite chilly. In the afternoon, the Sun peaked through the clouds with amazing intensity leaving tremendously warm sun spots throughout the house.
Vote to tell me who you thinks looks most comfortable wallowing in the heat:

Quasimodo

Pooh

BLAH BLAH BLAH SAYS MOM

Every morning I tell the kids to take their cereal bowls to the sink and rinse them out.

Every morning they leave them on the counter and our cat Pooh has a milk feast.

Sigh.........................
